The Essentials Clean is MaidLuxe’s recurring maid service for Houston homes, available on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly (every three weeks) basis. To ensure maximum results and your satisfaction, we strongly recommend starting with our Luxe Clean deep cleaning service before your first Essentials Clean.
What Our Essentials Clean Includes
Recurring Maid Service in Houston with a Dedicated Technician
Many cleaning companies rotate high-turnover crews through your home, and the results show it. MaidLuxe works differently. For our weekly and bi-weekly clients, the same technician is assigned to your home, so they learn how you like things done, which surfaces need special care, and where everything belongs. In the rare event your technician is unavailable on your scheduled day, we assign another highly qualified technician so your service stays on track.
Our technicians work solo, which means less traffic in your home and more familiarity and comfort with the person caring for it. We hire for integrity, train for skill with a proven training system, and run a background check on every prospective employee.

How Recurring Service Works
1. Start with a Luxe Clean
We recommend beginning with a Luxe Clean that brings the whole home to a true baseline, so every Essentials Clean that follows keeps it there.
2. Meet Your Technician
We clean Monday through Friday, with arrival windows of 8:00–8:30 a.m. for morning appointments and 12:00–12:30 p.m. for afternoon appointments. Most clients are not home: a door code, hidden key, or MaidLuxe lockbox all work.
3. Stay Flexible
There is no service contract, and you can cancel at any time. We simply ask for 48 hours’ notice to skip, reschedule, or cancel a cleaning.
Add Laundry and Kitchen Extras
Make your Essentials Clean a true full-service visit. Our Laundry Service can be added on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis: place your laundry in a designated hamper and we sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and put it away. Interior refrigerator and interior oven cleaning are also available as add-on services.

Yes. For our recurring weekly and bi-weekly clients, the same technician is assigned to your home. In the rare event your technician is unavailable on your scheduled day, we assign another highly qualified technician.
No. There is no service contract, and you can cancel at any time. We request 48 hours’ notice to skip, reschedule, or cancel a cleaning; with less notice, or if we cannot access your home, a cancellation fee of $50 per technician applies.
We generally clean Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Our arrival window is 8:00–8:30 a.m. for morning appointments and 12:00–12:30 p.m. for afternoon appointments. If you have a special situation, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
Each Essentials Clean includes dusting ceiling fans, light fixtures, blinds, sills, moldings, baseboards, lamps, and picture frames; dusting and polishing furniture; hand-washing the stovetop, countertops, backsplash, sinks, mirrors, showers, tubs, tile, bathroom counters, appliance exteriors, and cabinet exteriors; cleaning the microwave; emptying wastebaskets; making beds with one set of sheets changed; and vacuuming and mopping all floors.
Yes. Our Laundry Service can be added on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. We sort, wash, dry, fold or hang, and put your laundry away.
We love your animals as much as you do. Pets are welcome to be out in the home if they are not aggressive; we ask that any aggressive animals be kenneled during our visit.
